Our Story: A Tradition Turned into Passion

My name is Massimiliano Spriveri, born in Syracuse on May 30, 1976. My journey in the world of refrigeration began thanks to my father, Angelo Spriveri, a true pioneer in the field. His career started in 1958 as head of the production department at Castor Refrigerators, continued in 1962 with Candy, and later, in 1965, as a technical installer for Brothers Costan – now Epta Spa.

At just 8 years old, my father handed me a small refrigerator to disassemble. What began as a game soon turned into a lifelong passion. As the years went by, I made it my goal to establish myself in the refrigeration industry. In 1996, I graduated from a technical institute, and in 1997, I founded my first company: Spriveri Climasilent. Over the years, I collaborated with some of the most prestigious brands in the sector, including Costan, Arneg, and Carrier.

In 2002, with a growing specialization in large refrigeration systems, the company became Spriveri Refrigeration, and just three years later, it evolved into Spriveri Grandi Impianti Ltd, with a vision to become a leader in CO₂ based systems. Unfortunately, due to a severe economic crisis in Italy, the company ceased operations in 2015. Nevertheless, the name Massimiliano Spriveri remains a recognized and respected presence in the industry.

After gaining experience abroad, I relocated to Malta, working with several renowned local companies. Then, in March 2025, a major Italian company offered me the role of Technical Area Manager Europe, based in Malta. That milestone marked the birth of AS Refrigerantion Projects and Services, a company named in honor of my father, Angelo Spriveri, whose initials represent the tradition he passed down to me.
